The Blitzortung.org account is not the same as the forum account. A Blitzortung.org account is required only for detector operators—that is, for individuals who actually provide data.
You can register for Blitzortung.org via a link on the firmware webpage. If this link does not appear there for any reason, please send an email to blitzortung@gmx.org.
If you have forgotten your Blitzortung.org account password, send an email with the subject line "Password" to blitzortung@gmx.org. The password will be sent to you, provided you are already registered with Blitzortung.org using that email address.
